Once these seven sections have been checked, I would not finish the exercise sitting at a desk.

Take the checklist.

Start outside the gate.

Walk.

Look up.

Look down.

Look behind.

Open doors.

Look below racks.

Look at corners.

Look at the receiving dock.

Look at one old pallet.

Look inside the cold room.

Look at the temperature display.

Look at the cleaning cupboard.

Look at the waste area.

Look at pest-control devices.

Pick one returned carton and ask its story.

Pick one normal carton and trace where it came from.

Ask a worker:

“अगर यह packet फटा मिले तो क्या करोगे?”

Ask the supervisor:

“Cold room temperature गलत मिले तो क्या होगा?”

Then look at the record.

Paper says one thing. People say another. Floor reality says a third. FSSAI Readiness requires all three to meet.
