SMART FARMER
I became a Smart Farmer the day I stopped farming blindly.”
I’m not a scientist. I’m not even great at maths. But I knew one thing; if I don’t learn, I’ll be left behind.
So I picked up my phone and joined a WhatsApp group of farmers, started watching YouTube tutorials, and began using simple apps that tell me when to spray, when to irrigate, and how to budget.
I learned to ask the right questions, compare vendors, and check government subsidies online instead of running from office to office.
Today, I don’t call myself “just a farmer.” I call myself a Smart Farmer. Because I know how to use technology, negotiate better with buyers, keep digital records, and still respect the wisdom my father passed down.
I’m not only growing crops; I’m growing knowledge and confidence.
