Organic Input Production Unit:

1. What is this item?

This is the prep-zone for all home-made agri-inputs like:

• Jeevamrit / Beejamrit / Panchagavya

• Neem-based sprays

• Fermented bio-pesticides & growth promoters

• Cow dung-based soil conditioners

• Liquid fertilizers, fermented concoctions, herbal brews, etc.

It’s also the mini lab-slash-kitchen for organic formulations — messy, smelly, magical!

2. How is the Quantity Estimated?

Based on farm size and volume of inputs prepared per week/month:

• Small farms (up to 5 acres): ~150–200 sq ft shed

• Medium farms (5–20 acres): 250–400 sq ft

• Large farms (20+ acres): 500+ sq ft with extra drum space

Should ideally include:

• Open-to-air space for brewing large drums

• Roofed shed for measuring, mixing, drying inputs

• Small storage corner for dry and liquid ingredients

3. What are the Cost Components?

• GI pipe frame + Tin/Asbestos sheet roof (₹70–100/sq ft)

• Concrete or brick-paved floor (for easy cleaning)

• Platform/bench for mixing (₹4,000–6,000)

• Storage shelves + drums + containers (₹10,000–15,000)

Pro tip:

Locate it near your compost/vermi unit, so materials are easily shared.

Add a sloped roof with gutter to harvest rainwater for these liquid brews.
